On behalf of the organizing committee of Materials Challenges in Alternative and Renewable Energy 2024 (MCARE 2024), it is our distinct honor to extend a warm and cordial welcome to you, inviting your esteemed presence at this forthcoming, engaging, and interdisciplinary conference. MCARE 2024, meticulously organized in collaboration with the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers (KIChE) and the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), is scheduled to take place on the captivating island of Jeju, South Korea, from August 19th to 23rd, 2024.

The pursuit of a sustainable energy system stands as one of the paramount challenges of our time, igniting a global quest for innovative alternative energy solutions that transcend the boundaries of academia and industry. MCARE 2024, with its primary focus on the development of cutting-edge materials for a sustainable global society, assembles a distinguished assembly of experts from academia, industry, research and development laboratories, and governmental institutions from across the globe.
